The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Classics” is a colorway of the retro basketball shoe that honors hip-hop’s 50th anniversary. Originating in New York City in the 1970s, hip-hop is one of the most influential music genres of all time. The “Classics,” otherwise known as the “50 Years of Hip-Hop” Air Force 1 Low celebrates hip-hop culture’s legacy with special details inspired by the music genre. The shoe features a white leather base with tonal leather overlays and a black Swoosh with a spray-paint-like effect on the sides. The insoles feature a “Parental Advisory” style graphic while cassette-tape-inspired detailing is found on the tongue tag. An aged midsole gives the shoe a decidedly retro appearance.
